carpet cleaning - fuel/oil stain

Hi all,

Have any of you had any luck trying to remove fuel/oil stains from your car's carpet? My non-Alfa leaked fuel inside the passenger compartment (fuel line runs through it ), and it soaked into the insulating tar/fiber pad under the carpet and caused a patch of oily goo in the carpet. I washed most of the carpet with Purple Power, but this one patch just won't go away. Any suggestions?
