A very special event will take place this saturday! A great way to display your Alfa, enjoy the countryside, and enjoy authentic Italian wood fired pizza. An Alfa Spider will be on display at this event, along with several secure parking areas to bring your own Alfa or other Italian vehicle.

Summertime Tasting Event - Wood Fired Pizza

Just as in Italy, fresh dough slides onto the long handled peel and into the mouth of the oven where the wood has burned down to glowing embers and in a few minutes the life of the fire transforms the simplest of ingredients into a culinary masterpiece to be shared at the table with your family and friends. Come and spend an evening on the grounds of a Franciscan Monastery in the countryside to experience the
"life of the fire" Italian style.

Saturday August 8th from 5-8 pm at the Lourdes Friary
12915 Parrish Street in Cedar Lake, Indiana.

I like pizza, and this place sounds great. Just wish it was closer, I would have had to leave yesterday to get there for a Saturday event.
