Velocity stacks + Euro intake?

I'm interested in a cold air intake system for my carbs, and already know about TWM's box, but am also interested in the stock Euro intake box as well. I was told you can't have velocity stacks on your Webers if you have a Euro intake box. Is this true? I know there are slip-in and bolt-on stacks, neither would fit? Thanks.

there just isn't any room in the euro air box to allow for a velocity stack of any type. Something that would probably help is to radius the edges of the holes so that the air flows over a round surface and not a square edge. This will simulate one of the benefits of a velocity stack.
