Spica microswitch wiring question

I just noticed that there is no hot wire leading to the microswitch/fuel cutoff solenoid on my 74 GTV. No wonder I have backfiring on decel. This likely has been true since I had a shop install a good used pump in the middle of a failed gross-polluter smog check four years ago. That was fun.

Question. Can someone look at a 74 GTV and tell me where the hot wire to the microswitch comes from, and what color it is. I know what's in the wiring diagram, but I'd like to know what's on an actual car. I see no spare hot wire coming to that area from the front as on my Berlina (white wire with black sleeve). However, there is a spare green hot wire coming out of a bundle right by the brake failure switch, near the right rear corner of the engine compt. Maybe I can use that one?

Should be a white wire coming from the right front of the engine compartment.
As a practical matter the source of power really doesn't matter except that it should be a switched source of power (only hot when the ignition switch is on).

Thanks John. I'll look for it. I know the green wire is hot when the ignition's on, but I haven't checked yet with the ignition off.

Does the white wire have a black sleeve on it, coming from in front of the radiator panel as on a Berlina?

Most of the single wires of seen on Alfa harnesses have a sleeve. So, if you have to add a new wire, I'd put it in a sleeve. It will help protect it from damage.

I was mostly asking for ID purposes in trying to find it. When I bought this car 13 years ago it had the remains of a Sure Start and some other questionable stuff, so I'm hoping a PO didn't remove the wire. I'm embarrassed that I didn't notice til now that the fuel cutoff wasn't hooked up.

Maybe it's just a sign of old age creeping in.

The pump wiring coming from the RF headlight area is just not there. The hot lead I found near the coil is hot all the time, which I don't want, so maybe I'll tap off the + coil circuit. Screwy.
