Angry "Pauline" DOA

Now that I have a brand new paint job the car decided to break so she could continue to be a garage queen.

Car ran when taken to the shop was not running when I picked it up. I think this is not related. The problem is I am getting no fuel out of the injection pump. I have gone so far as to remove the fuel tubes and turning on the fuel pump. No fuel out of port 1, 2, and 4 and barely a trickle out of 4. I can crank and nothing comes out.

1. Less than 200 miles on Ingram rebuilt pump and injectors
2. Less than 200 miles on front and rear filters
3. Fuel pressure 15 + PSI
4. Good Spark
5. Full tank
6. New intact Spica belt
7. If I remove the hose just after the pressure gauge and turn the pump on fuel squirts out in a steady stream and the hose to the pump as well as the inlet port of the pump is clear.
8. FCS and CSS wire disconnected.

Sounds to me like a completely shot or clogged Spica pump. What do you guys (and gals) think? I am staring at a newly painted car that I cannot drive and it is making me crazy.

Looks like a possible problem with the Spica injection pump. Wes being the class act he is spent a good deal of time reviewing the possible problems. I will be sending it to him tomorrow.

The good thing is that I have my technique down “I don’t be ticklin or nothin” . It took me about 1 hour to get the pump out.

Would it be clear enough if I said the pump had a busted framis? Well the problem was in the logic section. Wes and Herb fixed it and got it back zippity quick.

You just have no better option than Ingram Enterprises when you are dealing with Spica systems.

Mostly re-assembled now. We should have "fire in the hole" tommorow night.
