fuel pump

i am thinking on changing to an electronic fuel pump as my mechanical one is stuffed, i have a holden v8 fuel pump with an adjustable regulator laying around is this a good idea or would it flood my 36 webbers

help appreciated

A dial-type fuel pressure regulator should solve any flooding problems.
They are not expensive,
