Weber 40s on the 1600 and Dellortos on the 2000. Looking to move up to 45s on the 2000 during the build this year.
Looked at a pair of 48 DCOEs on a K Series engine on dyno last week. You could lose small children down those... mind you he was getting 210-220 bhp out of an 1800cc engine.

My Nuova Giulia 1300 has Solex side drafts with 40mm flutterbys but I have Webers for it.
I decided a while back to set the Webers up according to the chart in Center-Line's catalog for a type 105 1300 engine as a starting point. I will fine tune from there.
I also intend to install a set of 2 liter cams that I have. Don't know if that change will require or desire carb setup changes ???

Anyone have more experience with tuning Webers see a hole in this plan?

BTW Weber jets and chokes and tubes are very expensive these days.

DHLA40's

Installed a set of DHLA40's to replace the SPICA system. With air horns and free-flow air filters. Sounds great. Jetted at 148 mains with 180 airs, 34mm chokes, 60 idles, 33 pump. Response is great with the other modifications done to the motor.
