GTV Weber Fuel line and connectors....

I would like to find some nice braided fuel line & connectors that will clean up the mess I've got now. Any pics would be appreicated. I've a converted '73 and the installation though working is messy.

Thanks
Jack

Here are a couple of places that can supply you the parts. I like the Aeroquipe better but just a personal preference both work well.

Earls

Godman

Here is another on you can see the block where the lines come together. this can also be done with a tee fitting.

AlfaJim,
Not to get off the thread subject, but I love those spark plug wires! Who supplies those, and are they resistance core?

They are Taylor pro series pretty much all that I use anymore. They are cut to fit no specific application. Yes they are resistance core ,they use a wire wound carbon core great for street cars with radios.

The Earls type of fitting is what I most like and had in the GTV (sold now) but have been told and it is what I currently have in the Spider that because the engine "flexes" - "moves" somewhat is is better to have just plain rubber hoses that you can replace every so often. In any case it is important to have something of good quality!

Good luck,

I don't think you can get much cleaner looking than a stock setup. Braided lines on a street car are, IMO, a bit of overkill function wise but they do look pretty awesome when properly done.
