Dellorto Linkage

I have two Dellorto DHLA 40's on my car and they seem to be working fairly well. The problem is the throttle linkage, it does not look like they are opening full throttle, when the pedal is pushed to the floor. This is the type of linkage with the rods coming from the firewall. Is there a source of linkage parts for this car? These do seem to be pretty lose, I wouldn't mind replacing them. The engine in my car has been changed to the 2 liter, would that make any difference? Plus the gas pedal come up very high, is there any adjustment for that or a stop that maybe missing?

AFAIK, there's no adjustment for the height of the gas pedal. But there is an adjustment for wide open throttle (WOT). It's the gas pedal stop underneath the gas pedal. Check that the carpeting or a floor mat isn't preventing full pedal travel. The rubber firewall bushings for the linkage and the rubber isolation bushing by the starter are available from the usual Alfa vendors. So is the ball that the long rod attaches to at the firewall end. If the sockets are worn out, I've had great success replacing them with the plastic throttle ends that are fitted to Spica fuel injected cars.
