idle jets exchange

Hi ,
I have several sets of idle jets in the 50 range that I will never use, I would like to try some 45 on the lean side. Anyone interested in swaping idle jets?
I could use any or all of the following, 4 each
45f 11, 45f 8, 45f 2

I have to exchange 50f9, 50f8, 50f11, 50f6, 50f12, 55f9, 59f21-

Bruce

If you come up empty on used jets, http://www.piercemanifolds.com/ should have new ones.
I have to ask though, what's the reason(s) for the switch to #45 idle jets? Although the fuel for the idle circuit is drawn thru the idle jets, they do not effect the idle mixture; that's the job of the idle mixture screws. The idle jets' function is to control the mixture of the part throttle transition phase prior to the main circuit kicking in. Too small an idle jet results in the dreaded "flat spot". If the engine is a 2l, 45 idle jets are too small.
Speaking of 2l, I'm interested in the 55F9s you have.

A 1400 engine explains it! 50s are WAY too big. 45s may even be a bit on the large side. I think I may have some 40s that came out of a 1300. I'll check when I get home.
SOLD on the 55s! I'll PM you the necessary details.

Well, it seems that the spare jets got ummmmm.... misplaced when we moved. Can't find 'em anywhere but I'll keep looking.

new sizes

OK, so I didn't get any jets out of the last post. Let me try a new size.
As of the last drive it looks like I might be able to use:
50f13, 50f7,
50f15
45f6

thanks
Bruce
