o2 sensor replacement

Howdy all,

I recently purchased a 1991 spider veloce (my first alfa) and am going through and doing all of the regular new-to-me car stuff. Having never had an alfa before (mostly old VWs and old saab turbos), some things are quite new to me.

In my saab you can use a standard bosch 3 wire O2 sensor ($35 - for a ford) and simply cut and crimp the old wiring harness on instead of purchasing the one prebuilt for saabs ($150+). Same sensor, different harness $115 difference.

Is there a similar option for the alfa? International Auto charges $177 for one, which just seems outragous.

Thanks,
-Dan
