Mille Miglia 2008

Hello members,

Some pictures from the Mille Miglia that I made on Thursday the 15th of May 2008.
They were checking the Disco Volante in one of the Piazza's in Brescia because it seemed to run on three cilinders. It was okay when I saw it come through Verona later that day!

Ciao, Olaf

If you go to the Mille Miglia web site: Mille Miglia - Mille Miglia - La Corsa pił bella del Mondo
and then click on 2008 on the left, it will bring up a pull down menu. If you click on registered cars, it will show you page after page of all the cars in this years race with the oldest car being entry number one, ect....

Grazie!

Hello dretceterini,

Thanks for the info. It was great being on the Piazza in Brescia and having the opportunity to photograph all these beautiful cars! The atmosphere in Verona at night when the cars pass by from about 21.30 hours was special too!

Ciao, Olaf

Great work! I just went through the set- my favorites have to be the Fiat 750 Zagato and Colli Spider, those funky Gilco specials, and oddly enough that MGA/ EX-182. The spirit award goes to the guy riding shotgun in that Giulietta Spider, the side without the windscreen.
