Regular South Bay Alfa meet, In & Out Burger?

I know the Miata guys do it weekly, and last Sunday there was a whole BMWs/ Porsches/Mercedes, contingent outside the Jamba Juice/Boston Market (El Monte & El Camino) parking lot. Their "European Meet", said they gather monthly.
I may have some MGB guys interested too.
Do you guys do that, you up for a regular gathering either in the Blockbuster/Jamba Juice parking lot (El Monte & El Camino) or the In and Out Burger opposite Costcos'?
Maybe starting this Wed 4/30 or Thur 5/1?

I know some of you guys have been planning things, we also go to Ihop on various Sunday mornings in the past.

It's the one near Lawrence exp. and Steven's Creek I believe.

Yea, we do that occasionally, impromptu though, but we really should do a regular thing.

As far as meets go, I'm going to go ahead and assume most of us have day jobs, or have school which would preclude Mondays to Fridays. That leaves Saturdays and Sundays.

I'm OK with Sundays, but I already attend the already-in-existence Santana Row meets every Saturday. They have everything from Minis (old and new), Lotus (from the Elans to the Elises and Exiges), all manners of the blue propellers (that's BMW's), Porsches, to Lambos and Ferraris, to name just a few. It's really a "car guy/gal" meet -- yes, there are many female enthusiasts too -- and the car type is really immaterial. Most guys are pretty friendly and love to talk about their mods.

The time is also rather "friendly". They start to get together between 9-9:30am, and hang around in the parking lot until about 11:00am, at which point groups of them will leave on drives and others will go about their day. There's Peets coffee nearby, and for those who wish to do brunch, Flames is just across the street. IHOP is a mere two exits away which should provide some entertainment

Santana Row is a great place to look at P cars and a diverse group of others. I went once and saw this really nice E30 M3. I might go again with my Alfa 75 if I ever get a set of 17" BBS LM modulars! Gotta love the dish on those RS rims.

Please don't mention IHOP again, my stomach is rumbling at the thought of the breakfast there!

Maybe you could get something normal, instead of potato pancakes!

That's is one of the baddest assed E30 M3's ever!

I don't think anyone short of a 75 IMSA owner is going to be able to fit that kind of lip!

I saw a very rare set of 17 x 7 BBS LMs in 5x100mm on vwvortex. Have it machined to 5 x 98mm. But asking price is around $2.3K.

In fear of running way off topic, I have to say that E30 is SWEET! I so want one for a daily driver/modern track car. The E30 M3 is one of the very few modern cars I would even think about owning.

BBS = $$$

I'll be at In & Out this Thursday.... just gotta find that stupid registration sticker I forgot to put on (I expired this month and forgot).

Checked out Santa Row on Saturday... nice collection of cars! Ran into a couple of guys I haven't seen in a while too so that was a big plus! I putted there in the TDI since I was actually on my way someplace else and thought I'd drive thru just to see what the deal was. I was a bit outa place amongst these all these big $$$ cars but hey, what are you going to do.

This would be a great place to meet up and hangout before a Saturday drive!

Giulietta Day 2008 at Santana Row

Funny coming across this thread now.

I've organized a meet and drive at Santana Row for tomorrow morning (5/18) starting 9am for older Alfas (Giuliettas, namely), "Giulietta Day 2008". Feel free to stop by if you're interested in learning more about these cars. We'll be going off on a drive afterwards - sorry, Giuliettas only!
