I have gone, I live in the area, and yes its worth checking out. I think tickets are $40 or so. You can walk through the pits, talk with everyone, and its good racing. There is a small car show in the Sonoma Plaza Saturday night (I think.) Its mostly race cars, but there are a few local street cars that are allowed in. I'm trying to get on the list (its very short and somewhat exclusive.)
The races will have quite a few Alfas running, The Mozart sisters will have their GTAs out, Jon Norman will be out in his stupid fast 2L GTV running the big bore and fast class (935 Porsches ect.)

I made sure the car was parked in the safest place from those things, had it under a cover, there was nothing more I could do to prevent it. I haven't been able to find an Alfa friendly body person who does insurance work. I have a feeling this could be a huge claim for a moderate sized dent. So much for original paint.
