Exclamation Convention Registration Web Site Change - Important

To all those who have not registered yet (and you are planning on going, aren't you?), we have an important announcement about the published web site. Our chapter website, caroc.com, is down. We are working on getting it restored, but in the meantime please use one of the following alternates to register:

AROC 2008 Convention - Event Registration Powered By Eventbrite
Welcome to Chicago Alfa Romeo Owners Club

For assistance with registration, please do not use the published email address of registration@caroc.com since it is linked to the web domain. Instead, please call the registration support phone number:

(847) 487-7214

Many thanks, and please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Dave J.

Driving our For Sale 1991 164 to Convention and Fangio Tour

All:

We will drive our 175 K mi. Charcoal colored 164L. It is for sale as we are trying to lighten our insurance load now that we've retired.

Plans for our 28th US Alfa Convention and Summer Vacation are firming up for us to leave Texas, JE 7, via OK City and

Lincoln NE.
There is the International Quilt Study Center & Museum there and a lecture Monday nite by Paula Nadelstern one of Diana's favorite Quilters International Quilt Study Center & Museum Events & Activities Programs

Then on to Dubuque and no later than Thursday arrive in downtown Chicago at the Super 8 near Loyola and the Lakefront.

We'll see Jersey Boys and Wicked on and do a Frank Lloyd Wright tour the "Naturally Wright at the Home and Studio"
Saturday, June 14, 2008 (Second Saturdays Themed Tour) Tours of Home and Studio & Historic District the evening of the 14th of JE,

and then
Show up for the FANGIO pre-convention tour on Sunday.

After the convention the next weekend, we'll Route 66 ourselves back to Texas unless we've sold our 164 at the convention and delivered it. We can ride AMTRAK back home.

Looking forward to Chicago, this will be a first visit to the Windy City for us as other times the convention has been at Road America and situated west in WI.

See Y'all Soon

Enjoy the Jersey Boys, well worth it; it was a wonderful performance. I'd see it again.
