Arrrrgghhhh,...... Paul! Don't mind you posting the picture, but please, next time, put a bag over her head! And make sure it's a paper bag.
Best regards,

Trying to get my navigator to go, or maybe I shouldn't . Mapquest says its 848 miles so I would want to take 2 days. Of course, being the moody person I am, all this is subject to change .

I wonder if she ever drove the Lennon car that we owned? I haven't paid that close of attention to the date frame to figure it out as far as when she and John became a pair and when he owned the 2600.

Is the Lennon 2600 "the" same 2600 now owned by Bill Hall from the WI chapter?
By the way, you guys have yet to guess which Alfa BB / AROC member is behing the wheel of the Spider I posted on my last post. Hint: pic is was taken 34 years ago and used in the "Owner".

You talking about the guy with glasses or the one camouflaged with the trees?
You think one of them is George?

Carm:
Yes, Pat sold both the Lennon car and the additional 2600 that we purchased out of Lorrain, Ohio (the one that the transport company dropped the loading ramp through the windshield -- yet another story) to Bill Hall several years before his death. We obtained the Lennon car on a storage lien pay-off in San Francisco from Martin Swig. The Lennon connection was rumored from the beginning because of the exotic and expensive paint scheme and later verified and documented, I believe, in SCM.
Bill and I met at the Detroit convention again after many years. We were standing and talking to Joe Benson about this car that Bill had bought from Pat Braden, and Bill turned to me and said, something to the effect, "You must be Cheryl Braden to know this information." I didn't recognize Bill as he didn't me, although, Joe and I have known each other for many years.
That conversation was very fortunate timing for me with what resulted a few minutes later. Bill and Joe, due to their quick responses, were able to keep me from hitting the ground as I passed out due to the heat and extreme vertigo that I was fighting at the time.
As for the picture, my math tells me it was in the 1974 Alfa Owner. Pat would still have been in Michigan at the time. And no, I don't plan on running home and pulling out the 1974 Owner and looking for the answer.

Jerry,
Is this an indication that you're going to make the convention this year or just entertainment in light of everyone else's woes to make the deadline with their various equipment issues?
A wiring diagram might be helpful, but then if all else fails you can always use the harness for Cat in the Cradle and other assorted games.
Will your ABC art be at the convention?

For some reason I woke this morning with this idea in my head and it would not go away until I made the cartoon. I am hoping to come to Chicago. Uncertainty abounds as I really know no one and wonder if I would enjoy myself.
If I am there, I would bet that by that time a printed version of the new alfabet should be available.

Jerry,
No need to feel uncertain. I know I'm not alone when I tell you that you'll will have a great time, and you won't have problems hooking up with people that you've met through this venue and others. So, come join us!!
Best regards,

Jerry, you should really come. You're going to have a GREAT time! I thought I was the craziest Alfisti in the world, then I went to the Detroit Convention last August and realized that there isn't anything wrong with me. OK, maybe there is a lot wrong with many others. You are really not that far and it sure would be great for you to capture the first "All Alfa Wheel to Wheel" race to happen during a National Convention. Imagine over a half-dozen GTA's being chased by 3 dozen other Alfas. Besides, you have an extremely large audience to market your work to. Just a thought.
