The Georgia Triumph Association is hosting Polar Bear Run VIII on
Saturday, December 29,2007. This year's destination is The Museum of Aviation at Warner Robins, Georgia.
Meet at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Locust Grove (I-75 Exit 212). The drivers' meeting is at 9:00 am.
Visitors to Warner Robins will discover the "Crown Jewel" of Middle Georgia -- the Museum of Aviation, now the second largest museum in the United States Air Force. Displaying 93 aircraft and hundreds of exhibits on a beautiful 51 acre site, the museum has grown into a significant exhibit, education and cultural center, drawing more than 500,000 visitors a year.
The Polar Bear has become a favorite winter driving event in the Southeast. Last year's Run had over 130 cars participate. All classic marques are encouraged to join in - there has been quite an assortment over the years, from humble VW Beetles to exotic Ferraris and plenty of variety in between. Come be part of the fun.
Lunch and rest stops will be available along the way. Every car will be provided directions and may proceed at whatever pace is comfortable. There's no reason to stay at home and miss this one!
