A short 'Thank you' to the small, but elite, group of enthusiasts who I met during last weekends Sebring Fall event. The hospitality shown to me and my son was amazingly friendly, and it was a pleasure to both be there, and to meet you all. I enjoyed the event very much, especially driving round the track (and comfortably keeping ahead of the Alfas!) even if my hire car was a PT Cruiser convertible! Next time it'll be a Corvette.
I'll post a few photos when I get chance to sort through and resize them.
Thanks again folks

I’d like to thank Carlo for putting together the Alfa Alley at Sebring. This was my first outing at an Alfa event in my Berlina and hope to have many more.
I have more pictures at:
Picasa Web Albums - Armando - Sebring HSR 1...

The 'HSR' at Sebring was a great time! I recommend it to racing fans. There were some spectacular 'old timers' there---race cars & fans! I was kind of disappointed that no Ferraris were racing, but there were a couple of Enzo's finest examples driving around the paddock...

Here's the only Alfa that actually raced---it was entered in the 'under 2 liter' events:

Those that came Sat. and Sun. got the opportunity to drive the 3.7 mile track. For me, this was well worth $50. I hope someone posts track photos.

Here's the "Alfa" part of the little yellow #65 race car I posted earlier. The owner/driver told me it was a 1300cc engine, & I think he said it was built by 'Berg'(or maybe Beck?)...being too dopey to ask, I didn't think to inquire about the 'body-shell'.

Thanks for all the pictures and for everyone who attended. Sebring is what you make of it, and we made the most of it. I also want to apologize to the group that missed us on saturday. I hope you guys had fun just the same.

On-Track photos 1

As requested, on-track photos. Sorry for the quality, but my son was more concerned with my driving than taking the photos - Especially when I told him to take the backwards shots out of the window - Photograhic evidence that the PT Cruiser out-performed all the Alfas present!
