Bump - this Sunday. Nice place to walk around even if you don't show your car. Entrance to the place is not for free but you will get into the museum(s), get to see the mummy and see the car show. The mansion tour (if you want) is a fee additional to the entrance fee.
Photo's (in no particular order) of this years event.
How do these clowns rate being under a tent
Probably a trunk containing spare electrical parts
The red Ford in the far left, got Best in Show. (but it was in fair shape)
My buddy "Diesel's" Grand National - 11K orig miles. He bought it when it was one year old. Orig hoses, belts, tires. But he's afraid to drive it anywhere and puts less than 200 miles a year on it. Kinda of a waste IMO.
The green '69 Z28 should have gotten Best in Show IMO. He was offered over $90K for it by a dealer.
The eye-talion brigade The Dino was bought from Richard Griot - the guy who sells wax and stuff.
The car was pretty neat IMO. It's a Griffith powered by a dual quad 289" Ford. The car weights something like 1400 lbs.
Bugeye Sprite
After a while, the Misses finds these events boring. We had arrived about 15 minutes prior to the taking of this photo.
Another buddy of mine and his TD. He'll also be at The Glen Concours.
