Thanks LM, I'm usually one of the first ones on the "Use the Search Feature" bandwagon. Shoulda heeded my own advice.

I'm considering it. Haven't been back since the Alfa orgy 2 years ago. Definitely going to Lime Rock.

Yeah, I did Lime Rock last year, and had a great time on the parade laps. I've been to LR every year since 1999 to either the Ferrari Challenge or Vintage Festival. I figured I'd try something different this year--I haven't been to WG since the late 80's. Either way, I have to make a decision, I can only go to one or the other.

The Friday events at WG is great...too bad its 8+ hours from Burlington. Great track and plenty to occupy yourself with when not at the track.
Limerock is a mere 4 hours south of me and CT is my home state. My first trip to LR was in 1976. LR wins this year........

Absolutely will be there in the '65 Spider Veloce that just did 2500 miles for the Detroit convention and Lake Huron tour. We've been going the the Glen vintage races since they started, and wouldn't miss it. Everyone needs to get there for the Friday activities (including closing the village streets so the racers can park there and do laps of the original course most of the day). Great fun, and the village loves the event.

We'll be at the Glen as well... The Grand Prix on Friday and SVRA weekend races are definitely worthwhile, so now I go every year...
Best regards,

Thanks for the info, everyone. I have to see how I can work it so that I can do all three days.

Fall Vintage events
We will be joining the vinatage events at WG and LR. As of this AM there were still a few slots open for the WG Knapp Vineyards Stone Bridge event for those of us with open cars. We have rooms in Corning, but if any of you know of availability closer to WG, I would appreciate the tip.
Our '91 Spider survived the convention and the Lago Huron tour - hope we don't push our luck with LR and WG back-to-back.

I plan to be at LRP on Monday and the Glen Fri-Sat-Sun. It won't be in the Alfa though (we did take it last year).
Is there a place/time for a face-to-face meet?

How about if we meet on Friday right after the re-enactment of the race (once the true vintage racers go by, which signifies the end of the Friday festivities) at the Concours parking lot and walk over to one of the local spots for a beer and a bite to eat? Friday, during the day, LM and I will be downtown at the Concours. I'm sure we'll be the only 2 Alfas in the concours. He'll have a red GTV and I'll be taking a black Spider.
Best regards,

Enrique,
We'll look for you guys in the Concours lot on Friday just before dinner. We will be going on the Glenora Run in the morning, then spend the afternoon at the track. If we don't catch up with you on Friday somehow, we'll be doing the touring laps at lunch on Saturday and might see you then. Oh, we're probably taking the '65 Spider Veloce in case you're looking for us.
See ya', Jim and Jude-Anne
