The lines are clearly inspired by the 6C 2500 by Touring. The car has gone through a thorough restoration by the current owner

I think the coachwork was done in the early 1950s by a Belgian company called De Mola...

I recall seeing an article on this very car in a recent issue of Auto Aficionado (sp?). Per the owner (as I recall), the engine was not original to the car, but was a real Alfa prototype engine AND its engine mounts were an exact match for a 6c2500.
