Rétromobile 2007
Here some pics I took of the Paris event.
1- P3
2 & 3- Interesting blue 6C 1750, Touring bodied I suppose.
4- 8C 2300 MM (Touring) and Montreal (Bertone)
5- 33 Stradale (Scaglione).
I didn't see all the cars but I'll come back on tuesday.
There was also the Fusi book at... 250 £

Fusi book for 250 pounds? That's nuts! There was someone who copied it to CD/Rom and sold them for about $40 2-3 years ago on e-bay. I just sold my extra copy of it to Jim, but some should still be available.

I bought mine for $200 on eBay two years ago. In my opinion, if the price is over $250 - $ 275, leave it.
Maybe the Fusi is a 'must have' but that doesn't mean it's a 'must-have-now'...
Other copies will be for sale.

The CD/Rom of the book has all the information for around $40, and it comes up on e-bay.

In this case I prefer the real stuff Luigi never signed a CD/Rom...
Anyway, I know the guy who makes those CD's, I'll ask if direct sale is possible.
EDIT: he does, I looked for his website and... tadaaaaa...

The latest Fusi I've seen turning up at eBay fetched EUR 250.
Unfortunately for those who don't have a copy, my understanding is that it is the current price.
BTW, I have been visiting Retromobile as well, and the prices didn't seem as crazy as they used to be: commenting on that, we suspect a plain lack of buyers... For once, I came back home with a couple of obsolete Alfa miniatures paid a fair price.
Yet, the set with the two volume on Grand Prix cars by Pomeroy was priced EUR950... A Scuderia Ferrari by Orsini was also in the 400 range, while I found one, in Italian, for 150 lately.
The bargain of the day was the Trieste Opicina big book discounted at EUR 65 instead of 120. Got one.

Well, certainly the hand mades weren't cheap. On one web site I have seen a 1/43rd model of a Lancia D-50 by LP Creation that was 5300 Euros!
By any chance, did you happen to take photos of the red Siata 1500 coupe that was on the Galerie des Damier's stand?

I would appreciate if you would take some photos of the red Siata 1500 coupe on the Galerie des Damiers stand, and also their website address and/or an e-mail address.
You can also send that stunning 6c1750GS in the top photo to me
Thanks,
Stu
