The web site doesn't say anything about a start time, but their number is on the site.
They have a weekly cruise-in that begins at 8AM.

"Top Secret Alfa Club Meeting"
OK, you folks found us out.
Reprinted from Alfacionada:
AROSC General Meeting at Autobooks
February 24, 2007
The February meeting will be held at the Autobooks store in Burbank. Autobooks is located at 3524 W. Magnolia, Burbank, CA 91505, 818-845-0707. There may be an author present, as well as the only midget racer powered by Alfa! There may be some other special treats as well. The plan is for a few people to arrive around around 8 AM to reserve parking in the lot for the rest of us. We should all plan to arrive about 10 AM to have time to browse and bench race before the 11 AM meeting.
When we are finished with the meeting and have spent our all on books and stuff, we will head down the road a couple miles for lunch at Bob's Big Boy in Toluca Lake, the favored hot burger joint in the area. Bob’s Big Boy address is 4211 Riverside Drive. This is a little south, and bit east of Autobooks.
For those who haven’t OD’d on cars yet, we are mentioning the gathering of 32 Fords at the Petersen Museum, at Fairfax and Wilshire. Seems that the 24th of February is the 75th anniversary of the introduction of the original Ford V-8. Rumors are that there will be hundreds (some say more than a thousand) ‘32 Fords, from very original to very modified, on hand for the occasion.

The problem I have had with Autobooks for the last 25 years (since Harry Morrow passed away) is that they refuse to stock any books that aren't in English...hence the fact that they normally only have about 5-10 different books on Alfa....

Next time make the event on a Sunday. Some of us work 6 days a week! Remember to take pictures and post them here.

I must be even older than what I thought. I remember when an event like this in southern California would bring out 50 cars or more...

don't worry, I think in the near future there will be more young Alfaddicts to carry on the torch as witnessed by the amount of children seen at places like the Laguna Seca historics...
