75 Experience!
I recently met Ron Simmons at an informal get together of AROSC club members.
He showed slides and video of his Nurburgring based driving school. The school uses Alfa 75's (Milano's here in the US).
He sold me!
Check out his website at 75Experience.
I am trying to schedule for July 1st and 2nd.
Is there any local Alfisti that would be interested in sharing the same dates?

I know that Nizam, April, Colin, and I have all talked about doing Ron's school this summer. Personally, I will have to combine it with either visiting home (Denmark) or work (Switzerland). I'll look at my schedule and talk to Judy (about vacation). Is your wife and son coming along for vacation?

I'd be very interested, I am heading to Holland and need to be there on the 7th, so 1st and 2nd sounds great!

My wife and I will be traveling to Rome. We will be traveling by car from Rome through Florence, Modena and on to Venice. Hopefully in an Alfa Romeo.
My wife will fly home from Venice and I will travel to the Nurburgring.
Of course this all depends on Ron having enough students for that date.

I'd be happy for anything around that time.

Can't do July, but I'll be at the 75Experience! on the 5th/6th of May and 1st/2nd September. I'm sure we could find a place in our group if you need any alternative dates.

Anyone who is seriously interested in joining me at the Nurburgring, send me a PM. Currently I am set for a private lesson, but it would be even more exciting to share the experience with fellow Alfisti.
You can check out the 75 Experience website.
Here is the LeMans Series at the Nurburgring.
I was able to book my flight into Dusseldorf thru LTU.

What does "private lesson" infer? Cost-wise, track-wise, time-wise, etc. The same $850 deal in Ron's 75 that he discussed with us.
I'm seriously considering going!

At this point I am not exactly sure what the deal will be. It depends if we get a group together, or if I end up doing a private session.
I think his normal rates are 450 euros for group rate and 1550 euros for the private lesson.
This includes the welcome dinner and orientation the night before and then the whole afternoon on the track the next day.
Come on Jes, let's go!

I just need to double check my work schedule - may have a 2-week meeting in Geneva in June, but I believe it will not extend into July. Also, need to run it by Judy and her work schedule one more time.
BTW, will you be running race group at BW (3/31, 4/1)?

I wouldn't miss Buttonwillow for anything! Last year I put two laps in. First lap a plug wire came off, came in to the pits, put it back on, and four turns later, head gasket blew! This time I have a fresh motor. Still need to plumb the oil cooler, upgrade the fuel pump, and get the car tuned on the dyno.
Four weeks is plenty of time.
