ARA February 17th FAST Go-Kart Racer Event

Okay folks, sorry for posting this so late, but I got my cams late too!

Who: Everyone is invited, however it's limited to 36 people.

What: Instruction video, 10 minute practice session, 15 minute break to brag about your times and scores, 5 minutes lap time for qualifying, 15 minutes to cross the finish line.

When: 10:30am at the Go-Kart Racer on Saturday, February 17th.

Where:
GoKart Racer
1541 Adrian Rd
Burlingame, CA 94010

Why: Why not?

Email Michael Pordes to let him know if you are coming and how many people! mpordes@sbcglobal.net I believe the cost is around $60 or less if you have a license there already. I can vouch for this place; it's a lot of fun! Even after you're done and drive home, you could have tendencies to speed and corner excessively.

Hi Sean

Did the go kart event happen?
I'd never survive, but Brian was interested (but he said the Fiat guys went for $45)

How did you like Jay Lamm presentation on 24 Hours of LeMons?
I keep running into him at events and he said he was taking his presentation on the road (the race will run in Florida and Ohio), and he said he needed practice, so I said...How about ARA?

(Finally registered! I think it was the little disclaimer that I couldn't see that kept popping me out. Brian's never been able to register either!)

Bet the coast is beautiful today! - Kathleen

Hi Kathleen! Glad you're finally registered I'll show you the options sometime when we're near a computer.

It was a great event!! Only about 6 people actually raced, but other watched. I think my arms are still sore from all the cornering, but it was some serious fun. I know Brian would have liked it, but I'm surprised more people didn't show up...

Ah yes, what a nice day for the coast...I really need to get that spider going...
