New Years Day Drive In So Cal
Every New Years day, TRE Motorsports, a local Porsche shop in North Hoillywood does a big New Years Day dive. Tons of cars show up for the event: Porsche's, Alfa's, Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, muscle cars, etc.. It would be nice if a bunch of you can make it out there. I know it's hard to get up early on New Year's day so, dont go to bed that night! Here is the info I received for the event:
Meet January 1st between 8:00-8:30 am at the shop
TRE Motorsports
11046 Chandler Bl
North Hollywood, Ca.
91601
There will be Coffee and donuts for the first 100 people that show up. We will leave at approx 9:15-9:30 am after pictures and a "drivers meeting" handing out route maps. After winding our way thru the hollywood hills we descend thru Sunset down to PCH to meet our northern participants at PCH and Topanga (next to Reel Inn) at approx 10:15 am. We go up PCH for a while , then go inland for those famous So Cal sports car roads to end up at Tapia Park (Las Virgenes Road - Malibu Canyon, south of Mulholland Highway) for our picnic. Bring your own picnc and beverages.
This event will be awesome. I'll be there, in what, I don't know. If I have to, I'll throw the plates and a street clutch on the race car and have some fun. Pictures from last years event are on the TRE web site: www.tremotorsports.com
So...Who is up for this?

I'll try to get the Spider Veloce out there.
I'll also bring it up at the AROSC Xmas Party this weekend and see if I can get Jay Negrin to do an email notice for this year.
I will present it as an added event at next years planning meeting on Sunday, a Porsche - Alfa Challange?

So how many other bb members will be attending this drive?? 8 AM is pretty early to get up especially after a big celebration. After looking at the previous years of this rally, i don't see to many Alfa's.
