Well, I was using my Alfa up to that time as a daily driver in Los Angeles (work in Hollywood, school in Northridge, home in Burbank) and just decided one day that I needed something a bit more practical and comfortable (I was also about to begin a new job that would take my daily route all the way near Culver City as well). I've been regretting it ever since but I sold the '74 GTV for a 2000 Honda Civic that I still drive today. But back then, I couldn't afford to keep the Alfa if I wanted to own another car.

Every now and then I romance the idea of buying another Alfa but nothing that I have seen out there has led me to take that plunge again (for the money I want to spend, that is). Sometimes I think I'm holding out for Alfa's return to the USA and sometimes I think I'm just holding out for the right "old" Alfa to find me. Either way, I'll be Alfaless this time around again (as usual).

Well, I didn't have to work today so I had time to clean the car up from the last race at Willow Springs, and can now attend the show at Woodley Park.

Since I've never been, do they allow entries to the event that didn't preregister? And what's the parking like for those that bring cars in trailers?

I usually drive up and pay as I enter. There is parking in the back section for trucks and trailers. See you there.

New fan is in so I'm in! I had to pull the radiator out as there was only a 1/4" of clearance. Is there more clearance on the 1750 & 2000 equipped cars?

Too bad the convoy never came together. I'll try to leave the LBC by 8:45 to arrive by 9:30. I'll be hunting for Alfas on the 405!
