Don't stress it. You can register at the show at this stage of the game. It's the day after tomorrow in any event. If you are going to be down there we're having a dinner on Friday night at Antonio's in Celebration. Just came in from working on my Spider. Too dark now.

Don. How was the show? I still have no hood on my Alfetta... The guy who's making it, has been knee deep in rebuilding a Lotus completely out of Carbon Fiber. Maybe I 'll get in you guy's show next year. Do you guys have a website? Clark

Thanks to everybody at the show. Everyone I approached took the time to talk to me about their cars. I only had an hour, but it was great to see these cars in the flesh. Everybody was friendly and helpful and put up with my questions and inane comments. The cars looked great. The weather was great. And it was a great location.

I wanted to get a picture of that beautiful green stepnose in front of the pizzeria. My other personal favorites were the red GTV6, the alfa red GTV, the light blue spyder (92?) and the older (Giulietta?) convertibles (the black one and the grey one).

I left the show feeling that you can't go wrong on any model of Alfa.

Good show. We had about 40 Alfa's in sum. Some old, some new. Hopefully you'll have yours ready by next year. I had to finish working on my Thursday night b/f leaving on Friday. Of course, it is an Alfa, right?

Hi All,

These are my pics of the show. I didnt take many and they arent very good. Sorry. I was just kind of into have a good time and not really using my brain. Hopefully someone else will post some pics, maybe of the grey Giullietta?

What can I tell you about the show. The dinner friday night was phenomenal. They set out 1 huge table and we all partied like rockstars. Like i said before the couple that put on this show are super nice and they make everyone feel like family. Saturday was showtime and there was a very good turnout. trailer queens, suday drivers, daily drivers, and cosmetically challenged cars all came out, about 40 total. the judges were polite, thorough, and professional without being snobby, and right on the money in their judgement, imho. You see one pic from inside my car from when we were about to go on the parade lap. you may want to notice the 1986 vintage passport radar detector on the dash. I call my car the Time Capsule for a reason.

My only complaint is that they wanted the cars out there at like 830 am and that early a time doesnt register on my clock. the day ran long like i said, to my taste, it would have been better to start like at 11 am so we could get up at a decent weekend hour and still have time to detail the car.

my car, the red gtv-6, was pitifully not ready for the show. it was only about 8/10ths clean and i had driven it from key west, a distance of about 450 miles. The silver maratona next to me, i dont know if it was trailered in, but it sure looked like it was. yeah yeah, im making excuses- the maratona won an award and mine didnt. im jealous. i admit it. the maratona was absolutely immaculate with 21,000 miles compared to my 103,000 miles. he was nice to me, but he didnt comment on my car which kinda hurt my feelings but thats ok. Also CanadianFly came up and said hi but he caught me off guard and i must have come off like a jerk. im sorry dude, it just freaked me out. i kinda thought of cyberspace people as not really real so its kinda wierd when they are in front of you all of a sudden in the flesh, if you know what i mean? So i learned that lesson.

LSU fans' gtv was really beautiful. i really liked the color, its kinda banana yellow and it was really pretty. His girly was nice too. Delmas Green brought one of his Montreals and it won an award also. those cars are really kewl. Surprisingly, his was not the only one there. Some other guy brought one which was almost but not quite equally as nice. Good job Delmas.

There were two grey Alfas, a giullietta and the other was a spider i think. A certain museum i know has a red 2900c and they had it repainted in grey as well. you havent seen the most beautiful alfa until you've seen it in grey

I might have some more back at the house. I think that I have the exterior and interior pictures of the Grey Giulletta some where at home. Wonderful car.
