Magnaflow Open House / Dyno Competition / Car Show OCT. 14 - SO CAL

Once again, our friends at Magnaflow are opening their facility to us on Saturday, October 14. The event will go from 9:00am through 12:00 noon. They will provide us with refreshments.

We will have the usual Dyno Competiton. Last year we had a great variety of cars giving it their best to earn bragging rights of being the most powerful Alfa in So Cal. Well, it’s time to crown a new king. Awards will be presented to “most powerful Alfa” and “most power per cc”. Entry to this FREE competiton is limited so please make sure you get your slot booked. Contact Anthony Rimicci if you are interested: anthony *at* alfabb *dot* com.

2005 Most Horsepower Winner

2005 Most Horsepower/CC Winner

While the dyno will be running outside, there will be a casual car show in the parking lot as well as a swap meet. Last year there was a really nice variety of cars in attendance as well as some great parts for sale. A lot of people walked away with some great parts to finish their project. There is no entry fee for the car show and no sellers fee for the swap meet.

Magnaflow is located at 23201 Antonio Parkway – Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – 92688

The dyno list is almost full. Only room for a couple more cars and a few "back up" cars.

I told several local Alfisti about the MagnaFlow event, last Saturday at Crystal Cove. Will tell more this Saturday! I am looking forward to a good turnout of cars there.

Exclamation

I will be there!!

This is also the last day of the Crystal Cove meet. The Irvine Company is throwing us out.

I will be coming from there.

It would be really nice to have a major turnout on this day. I know that the boys from Ferrarichat are trying to have five Enzo's there . There is a major effort to get as many great exotics there as possible including a Vayron . We could all take a drive from there to Magnaflow.

The good news is that after this weekend Ford (in Irvine) is offering the event a new home . Please support there efforts by turning up for the show at the new event.

See you then.

Who is the guy with the turbo charged red GTV. I want to see his car get on the dyno. I've always wondered what it would lay down? Anyone know.

He is a collector from Temecula. He has 13 or 14 cars that he keeps in a hangar. Everything from a Lotus Cortina to a Ferrari 330. Nice guy.

He is just playing with the Alfa. Says its never been right but a lot of fun!
