Concorso Italiano 2006, Carmel CA

Anyone going or planning to go?

More importantly, any Milano owners going?

Will we see the Milano 3.2 GTA there?

What about the no. 33 105 GTA?

I'm bringing my Milano there. It's really not concourse quality, more of a race car. But it should be just OK, it looks nice from 5 feet away. Hopefully it will have a rollcage or rollbar by then. Maybe 17" wheels.... will spruce up the engine bay a little I guess. Maybe some stickazzzzz.....

What are the exact dates? - apologies for my ignorance
I would love to bring the Milano 3.2 GTA, but cosmetics will still be rough, and most importantly: I'm not sure I dare mentioned another car activity this side of the next track event to Judy... after trailering the milano to Seattle, barely escape through the window of a burning milano, various track event, etc...

Hey, I always wondered if you put your location as you did by mistake/typo, or intentionally? Just curious.

75 evo, who cares if your car is not concourse quality. It's a REAL car that you actually drive and run at the track. I would much rather see your car than the trailer queens that show up at these events.

You should see my GTV6 I am taking to the convention in Tulsa. It's really really far from concourse quality! However it's still a cool car. Of course it does have stickers, 4 of them!

GregG,

Wish I could be in Tulsa!

Jes,

Concorso is around July/August time frame. Tell yer wife this isn't a driving event, and she can spend time shopping in Carmel.

Oh for the location, it's probably a typo .....

I mentioned it and she didn't run away screaming , so maybe... Of course, the blackmail would be to mention the event to Jonas (3.5 year old son), and we would have to go So, is your family and Nizam+April going as well? Heck, by then the 3.2 should be running, and perhaps have an Evo kit - got it coming...

No Concorso Italiano or Monterey Historics for me this year. If I decide to go, it'll be a late night run Friday night so I can go check out the cars at the track on Saturday.
