AROSC MEETING AT ITALSPEED - NOV. 18
On Friday November 18, Alfa Romeo Owner of Southern California will hold their monthly meeting at Italspeed (www.italspeed.com). This a great opportunity to see the collection of Dirk Stoehr. Last week he was telling me they did an inventory and it totaled up to a little over 130 cars! This is an event you don't want to miss if you are in the Los Angeles area.
ITALSPEED
1738 W. Washington Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90007
Meeting starts at 8:00PM so traffic shouldn't be a problem.
Here are a few sneak peak shots, hope to see you there!

There is plenty of parking out front. He will have 2 security guards on duty so no need to worry.

Personally, I would rather see less cars, more correctly restored, but it's not my money..

Stu, your response begs the question: Should I go "old school" with the PF coupe and install a 283 with a 2 speed hydorglide, or stick with my original plan to install a 440 hemi with pistol-grip 4 speed (from a 1970 'cuda) ?? Should I worry about brakes with either application ? Im confused, but then confusion is my specialty.

Hehehehe...Patrick, he occasionally sells a few on ebay and then posts really funny replys to "interesting" questions that people ask about the cars.
Go with the 440 hemi

Dirk:
As I said, it's your money, and you can do whatever you want. If it was my money, I would have less cars, all restored as closely as humanly possible to the way they left the factory.

Stu, I think you mean to say "fewer cars, each restored..." rather than "less cars, all restored..." Its really just semantics. Your way of writing might be different than mine. The same thing goes for my collection, or anyones collection for that matter. To each his own, is the rule of the day.

If you wash them they'll shrink. Then you'll have less cars.
