Cool October 14th-16th EuroAuto Festival-Italian Marques Honored

Just a heads-up that this upcoming weekend is the EuroAuto Festival at the BMW Manufacturing Facility here in SC. This year they are honoring the Italian Marques so I would think the showing of all Italian will be pretty strong.

Here is a link to the schedule of events for each day and info on past events. www.euroautofestival.com

I have gone to look for the last 4 yrs and each time I am taken back by the number of cars present and vendors on site.

I am in no way associated with the event, but thought some of you may want to come check it out and even enter your Alfa or other Italian beauty in the show. My buddy and I will have ours showing though they are not really show quality...just good looking "daily drivers".

Hope to see some more Alfa's there.
Later,

The turn out for the show was HUGE for the Ferrari crowd, Alfa was represented well and Fiat had a few cars present. Overall the show was fun and the people were outstanding! Attached are some pictures I snapped while there. The field contained all European Marques (I'd estimate there were about 400 cars were present), again, with the largest showing for the Italians being Ferrari followed by Lamborghini, Pantera, Maserati, Alfa and Fiat plus some one off cars I had never hear of "Italia Hudson" and another...

In the pics attached the Black Montreal and Red 164 were the 1st and 2nd place choices for the Alfa group. My car is the ivory colored Spider next to the red 164.
This show gets larger every year and it is great seeing something different and meeting new folks here each time. I plan to attend next year and my Dad is looking to next year to enter his '52 MG TD.

Enjoy the pictures....

Here are a few more pictures from the show and post show at my home...

The T-Bird is my fathers and the oxford white Spider belongs to a good friend of mine. We each saw a little (very little) similarity in body styling with the Alfa Spiders and the new T-Bird...The rear section of the cars in particular...
