Gingerman Track Day, Oct 15

Little late, but we have a lot spaces available open for our track day this weekend at Gingerman.

We will be allowing on site registration, so check www.umich.edu/~alfa/gingerman.htm for details.

filling spots

High Eric,

have you tried contacting the west michigan Alfa club and the S2000 club guys? They have a combine annual track event there and the spots fill up early. I couldnt get on the last 2 years because of late registration. They may help out in filling some of the open spots

The Michigan Lotus club has trackday there too and are alway booked solid. A co-worker of mine runs the regional lotus club there in michigan. If your interested I can run this event by him. Maybe it late in the year a people dont want to get caught with the weather. I can say that my favorite track in Michigan, off cambers, hills and blind turns a real handling track. High powered cars are somewhat neutralized there... A great alfa track.

We've contacted a lot of clubs, but I think my biggest problem is that we are also hosting a track day on Sunday at Grattan.

We won't be full, but I hope we at least come close to breaking even.

In the past, I've sold this event out, so besides the Grattan event, I'm not sure what is going on.

I would have loved to be there but this weekend is the VSCDA Mid Ohio race........ I feel bad not supporting the Detroit Alfa Club but it is the last race of the season and I really wanted to go to Mid Ohio.

Just about to leave, waiting for UPS to deliver mu ez-up.

Turbolarespider, maybe for next year we need to review the calendars as of to not overlap race weekends.

Good luck!!!!

THe problem is that in the past, we were given the first Saturday after the rates go from summer to fall, saves us $1000. Not sure what is going to happen now, with the change in management.

So, within the last 3 years, this same weekend was taken by Mid-Ohio... Oops.
