Show in Sicily

Is there any show in Italy , Sicily especially between Sept 12-Oct 06 2003. My friend is gioing there(the bastard) so he is wandering if he can attend some show and bring me picts back

there is always something going on in sicily, it's the home of the targa florio. i know they do a targa florio vintage race in june and november and a 24 hour race at autodromo perugia in august. i will probably be talkin' to my cosuin this weekend or next and i will ask him.

Is perugia the track inside the volcano?

I was watching the race between the 156s and the BMW 320i. It's suppose to be a RWD track due to the tight turns, but Giovanardi, Larini and Colciago left those RWD cars behind.

Hi Guys,

Perugia is in Umbria next to Lago Trasimeno (this is my home track) in a town called Magione. It is a nice small tight track built about 30 years ago. See http://www.autodromomagione.com There is an endurance race in December and a historic race in September...but it's a long way from Sicily.
There is a great Historic enduro at Misano on September 7th. Misano is on the Adriatic coast near Rimmini. see www.misanocircuit.com This is even farther from Sicily.

I will check and see what is going on down on the island during that time and report back.

There is a another autodromo in Sicily but it is called Autodromo di Pergusa not Perugia. They have some serious events there.

Ah... ok it was Pergusa. I remember now. Where Team Alfa NordAuto kicked Team BMW Europe there. Giovanardi still holds the record for the touring cars there.

mezzeta- Oh! Frego! Parli Perugino? So stato a Perugia per 1 anno dieci anni fa'. Ci so arnuto l'anno scorso.

And I've been to the track at Magione many times (and waterskied on Trasimeno).
