It's coming up in a few weeks. Remember to register online and save yourself and the organizers time when entering the show. You can sign up on their website, The Best of France and Italy - SUNDAY, November 2, 2008.

I will bring my beater but I won't be parking her on the grass this time. Same primered fender and same rust spots as before!
I am looking forward to this show as I was called in to work last year and was out of the country in 2007.
Any caravans going up the 405?

Kai,
Bring it on the grass and I will bring my Milano with the chalk white paint job and dented fender.
We will help all the other Alfas look that much better.
You could put a sign on it saying "Early Restoration".

You got a deal Paul!
Perhaps your Milano is my GTV's long lost prodigy! They sound like a perfect match. My white paint's mostly chalky and there are minor dings here and there.
As for the sign, I'm thinking, "Beater Class". I just drive the chit outta her ... and she keeps rewarding me by continuing to run and bringing smiles to my face. Actually, I do have an intermittent starting issue. So I may need a push start after BOFAI.
Edit: just plunked down my fifteen bux

I got some small rust issues myself. So you can park next to mine. But the Fetta cheese is strong, so if you need a push start back down to the beach, I got ya buddy! Or if you need me to follow you up the 405, I am good for that too.

Hey Christian! Welcome to AlfaBB you lurker! I think I saw your Alfetta (Fetta cheese ) going through the Costco parking lot in Signal Hill. I was on foot, so I couldn't chase ya down.
I really appreciate the offer for a push and a follow! Once my GTV's running, she's good to go. I think I have a loose wire to my solenoid that I hope to look at this coming weekend.

What time are you heading up the 405 fulvia?
I'm gonna spend all day Saturday doing some minor work and major scrubbing of my GTV. I'd like to get on the road by 8AM, which would put me up there before 9AM. Keyword is like. I ain't a morning person and tend to drag my butt even more on the weekends.
Anyone else going this Sunday? It's really an awesome car show as far as local events go!

Still working on getting work off. Trying to trade around days with another guy. If I am too late can I still get my car in?? I don't want to register if I can't make it.
If I had my FIAT 124 coupe done, I probably would have requested the day off months in advance but since the fetta-cheese is not really a super-fast or sought-after Alfa, I wasn't too excited to show it. Don't get me wrong, it is a one of a kind with all the updated mods taken off a Milano Platinum.. plus how many Automatic Alfas do you see around? Its just that the fetta cheese has some moldy issues with the body. Other than that it is clean and in the process of getting more clean. In fact, I am in the process of getting it ready to sell so that I can have the space and time to finish my 124 Coupe.

I hope you can get the time off Christian. It's a great show, and there aren't nearly enough Alfetta sedans there. Plus this is a great opportunity to meet some AlfaBB members in person.
I've strolled into this show several hours late before. There's plenty of room to add another Alfa at the end of one of the rows. That's how I got this 'prime real estate'.

Great weather forcast
The weather is gonna be great for Sunday.
In the low 80s.
I want to see over 100 Alfas on the lawn this year. No cheap-skates parking outside just to save $15. I'm bringing the Alfetta and the Milano.
Doesn't matter if you have some dents and rust.
And remember to pack something for lunch and join us.

Don't worry about showing up late. In the past I've seen cars arrive as late as noon.
