is it just me or is this thread dead! cmon are boxer engined alfas really that rare in america?

Yep, your both right. Alfa didn't bring any boxer engined cars to the US.

Put a 1750 grill on my Subaru once. Called it an Alfasub.

We may as well say that although a '72 GTV would be nice, our 33's, Suds & sprints are alot rarer than theirs, and will be the envy of the US owners in years to come...

BTW, took a new GT for a test drive today. VERRRY nice... (Another one they can't have - poor guys)

Those new GT's sure look the part! what where your impressions?

Looks good, but i don't know about the capabilities of the car, as the salesperson wasn't overly impressed with having to let me drive it to start with, let alone give it a good thrashing with him in the car...

Nah...the board isn't dead..

....I posted some stuff a while ago about my racing project ('82 Sud) but it got bombed with the other messages which were lost..

...the project is still progressing !!..I'm getting some bits shipped from England so I can complete the chassis mods and then I can finnish the damn thing (it's been hanging around the garage for long enough for me to thinks nasty thoughts about petrol & matches !!)
