Child restraint points

Looking for where they are, but can't seem to find them. Owners manual doesn't really help out, only says that the provision is there (with 2 arrows pointing into the boot, but not saying WHERE in the boot... )

Are they supposed to be threaded holes or what? This is for the 33 right?

Can't find it either. Best i could see was a hole on top of some chassis bit coming through the boot floor. I'm going to see a dude tommorrow about some parts and a repair manual (what a find!!!). I'll ask him and scour the manual. Will let ya know if i've got any news. BTW Spewin bout the master cylinder hey? At least it's up and going.

Well, it turned out that the "some chassis bit in the boot floor" has a bracket inside it to strengthen it, it's up to the owner to fit the captive nut & restraint bolt hardware... At least the hole is there.

Interesting point, is that the restraint point is supposed to be directly in the centre of a seating position (as required by law here), but the alfa provisions are about 4 inches off the centre line, meaning the restraint won't be straight...

Anyway, the manual says...

Important parts offset in a 33? Shock, horror, what a surprise!

Gidgit,

the fittings come with the bolt, a variety of spacers, spring washers, and nut in the package. At least the KLIPPAN brand ones do.

I've tried to decipher the ADR (always difficult) and can't find any definitive limit to how far 'off centre' the attaching point is allowed to be.
