Based on the picture at the top of the page I would guess somewhere around 1977. Definately not 1985.

It says on the header that it's an '85. I'm going to guess that it's an '85

I just put '85 on there as a placeholder until I get a reply from Oelholm. I was thinking that maybe someone would be able to tell for sure.
Not a big deal I'll edit it when he replies.
Thanks for the help,

I'd be guessing it would be a lot earlier than '85, but I dont know for sure. '85 wouldve been getting pretty close to the 1500 update, my money would be on early 80's maybe 81 or 82? But thats a guess more than anything

Hi Smestas (simon)
That model came to Australia in 1974.
Was a 4 dr with large single headlamps.
I know, cause i dismantled -parted-wrecked ,many of them over the years.
I d say= somewhere between 1973-75.
What a great car.
4 speed gearbox and a single throat carby.
I used to call them a Rage Cage when I drove them, cause they handled fantastic and went well cause they were so light.
Also came with rubber floor mats
Hope Im right.
Robert

I answered in the masthead thread, but yes, it is indeed a 1975 model, a "normale" version.
Great cars
MA; how did you find that link? And did you understand much of it?

Searched your profile..
There was a link from your homepage that took me there!
I Know several languages but yours is not one of them but it was obvious once I started digging.

Ciao Oelholm!
Just saw that your nice Alfasuddi has become the flashing header on this
site - congratulations.
I've also read your Alfasud-blog on "cuore" which is quite fun to read.
In my younger days I had a good friend - and his brother bought a brandnew
and very nice orange-coloured 1977 Sud. He was so proud of that car!
Sadly his proudness faded rapidly due to lots of towing from road to workshop and the almost noisy sound of rustworms eating the bodywork - almost setting a new world record.
Therefore - be happy and proud with what you've got, it's quite a survivor!
See ya on the road when springs come!
Jesper

Great car Oelholm
I have a slightly later (78) 1286 super, in the same colour (giallo pompei). Very little rust, but could do with some touching up where surface rust has been treated.
