Hmmm, dunno if you guys have it by the same brand name, but we have Marley Drainflo and Draincoil. Light, flexible corrugated plastic tubing used for water works. Cant remember which is which, but one has perforations along its length while the other is solid. Comes in a variety of sizes from 90mm up to 160mm... Some retailers sell it by the coil (25m length) but some do sell by the meter.
Hope that helps

When I was in Germany, you could buy this really great clothes dryer ducting by the metre off a reel, I should have bought some! So flexible, light and never wanted to collapse.

My dad got some the other day it was plastic with a metal coil through it. im not sure where he got it though, i'd recoment trying a couple of auto stores like Scotts auto 1, Supercrap(cheap) Auto, Autobarn...just have a look around and ask them about it.

I have a crazey idea. I am thinking of cutting the metal top of the original airbox and place a couple of good pc fans connected somehow with 12v. This will increase thai air pressure in the box and maybe i can redirect air from the fron of the car onto thos funs so that they would suck ghot from engine bay. I have few good fans from decommsionnde server with very good air flow and i will try them in the future...

Hi,
With that, you will bypass the air filter, which is not good.
Cheers...

Since you drive a sprint why dont you take out both inside headlights and run a twin cold air intake from you new holes.

Would you be able to ask him where he got it? Ive tried places like supercrap, but its damn expensive and the drainage pipe isnt pliable enough.

Not sure about the legalities of not having high beams, also could get annoying when you want more light on those dark streets.

The stuff you're describing is called TPR ducting. You can get it from Clark Rubber (australia) or Para Rubber (NZ). They should be able to order it in if they don't have the correct size in stock (Comes between 50mm up to about 300mm from memory).
Other places around the world i'm not too sure on...

My first sud had h4 low/hi beams in the outer lenses as well as h1's in the middle.
Maybe a 5.25" h4 lense is the answer?

Don't know if anyone remembers it ( probably not, it's jap afterall ) Years ago Suzuki had a swift model which had a belt driven fan at the front of the air intake to increase power...don't know how well it worked but I would think the boxer layout would leave room for a similar contraption. It worked like a mega cheapo supercharger.

i heard about something like it from my local tuning shop, i searched on ebay and what i found was an induction kit that inside it's duct there is like a ''turbine'' that increases the suction...

I have also toyed with this decision> I decided that I liked the sound of the carbi induction noise. I removed the airbox and replaced it with foam pod filters on each carbi inlet. I think this actualy lost power in ordinary driving, it seemed to lose talk below 4,000RPM, but above 4 it sounded amazing and went alright too. In traffic in summer I had overheating problems, it just sucked to much hot air, but in winter driving in the mountains (about -5) it went like a little demon. So in the end sounded grate but didn't improve performance.

The best solution for that setup is to bring tubes directly on the filters redirecting the original path and creating 2 separeates tubes for each one or modifying the hood just after the headlights and placing 2 scoops for air like evo. In the seconf setup i dont know whats the case in rain and incoming water but this would be the best solution for me. I only have to find a second hood to make ths mod...
