Very tidy little car, nice and shiny too. With a bit of a clean up around the edges like paint on the plastic trim a scrub up on the interior and it will be a real gem! I take it the car has its MoT? I guess that would make it a great starting point. What plans do you have for it?

Also I was under the impression the TiX being a limited production for the UK market, all were white with color coded mirrors, grill and headlight surrounds and those rims you have there, but who knows with Alfas, seems to be whatever they had in the parts bin at the factory went on the cars

Keep us posted!!

yes the tix was a limited edition but they did come in different colours then just white like my black one i have now i also had one years back in silver and ive seen one in a cream colour also.
the main things were a colour coded grille ,colour coded grille and sunroof but my wheels are ti wheels which came on my car and the ti sud.
i paid £500 for her which is a bargain as it drives and the body is really good the previous owner had spent 4000 pounds on her keeping her on the road and he was a bit sad when the car went.
plans are to put a bigger engine in later 1.7 8v or 16v not sure which yet but also to uprate the suspension and make her really clean again.

Black is such a great colour for Suds IMO. Yours would look great with some window tints and nice new tyres!
Look forward to your progress!

What would you use to bring that trim up to spec? What kind of paint will make the trim look like new?

I used a 'bumper black' compound on mine, which worked quite well. The more expensive (and best) compounds incorporate a vinyl dye. The cheaper ones only last a week or so and fade.

The TiX was a nicer car than the 105bhp Green Cloverleaf. I had an Ivory X plater around 15-20 years ago. Another rare one is the TiS which was Alfa GB fitting Series 3 bits (grille and plastics) to a Series 2. I had a white one, OBW390W - long gone by now I suspect.
