Cracked Floor In 33p4

Just Been Doing Some Work On My Car And Noticed The Floor Has Cracked Where The Seat Runners Bolt To The Floor.
This Has Happened On Both Sides (passenger Seat And Drivers Seat)
Has Anyone Had This Happen To Them?

yup, it happens when people crash in and out of the car. Had this in a Sud and a 16V.

Another place to check is where the viscous coupling mtgs attach. Mine went around there (it had done 250,000 miles though)

These chassis just crack everywhere don't they?

I have also seen cracks at the rear seat mounting points in a sud. (hatchback)

The captive nuts holding the seat bolts into the floor also came loose and fell into the crossmember.

dad bashed it to original shape (had to be pushed back up from under car) then cut a template and made a plate to reinforce from top
looks like this now

and the front mount now looks like this

also got the aerial hole in my roof welded up, dad wasn't too pleased about having to do that job ( blue tint is because of tarp overhead, too hot to work without it :S )

My 33 wagon had a massive crack around its left 4x4 gearbox mount. This crack has now been welded, plated and welded and bolted through both plates of steel.

Also My sud dirt car has some minor cracks around the very top of the B-pillar welds.
