Fuel Pump for 16V

I'm dropping a 1.7 liter 16V into my Series 1 'Sud and need to install a new fuel pump. I found a NOS bosch unit on Ebay, but I'm not entirely sure it is correct. Did they run the same pump on the other 8V injected engines?

I am considering this pump from MSD:

MSD Fuel Injection - Performance EFI Systems

Will this work? Will I need to set a fuel pressure regulator to specific setting?

What is the correct fuel pressure required by the bosch injection in the 16V?

if you goto autobarn or something you should be able to get the original fuel pump for about $130 bucks, it's a bosch.

In my sud, I'm using the fuel pump out of a vl commodore, I'm pretty sure the pressure regulator is on the engine of the 16v.

There should be something with 2 small cylinders that sends the fuel on it's merry ways, and also returns - I think that's what that thing does!

Any fuel pump should do though, seriously.

You mention that there is a fuel pressure regulator on the 16v engine. Are you sure? I can't find one on my engine at all.

I have another regulator that I used with weber carbs. If I reuse it for my 16v, what pressure should it be set at?
