Speedo drive gear puller

Anybody know how to make this tool???

It basically just pulls the speedo drive off the inner shaft...

On that note, has anybody tried converting a sud speedo to the electronic type?

No, but I will. Theres a great place here in Adelaide that does that sort of conversion to old mechanical drive speedos. They use VDO internals but keep the facia of the original and the needle, calibrate it and voila...new speedo!

I think any good gauge shop that specialises in repairs etc should be able to do the job. If not, I can find out who the guy is here and you could probably mail it, he does brilliant work, and not all that pricey I believe.

this tool is for sale if anybody is interested.
it works with a std puller tool. common scaffold tube is about 1mm to large in the I.D. so the head piece with the thread had to be machined out of almost solid blillet
cost about $100 to make, an offer.
