Sprint Rim Measurements

I have a 1986 Sprint QV and I was wondering what is the widest rim that can be fitted onto my car?

I can speak with experience that a rim and tyre wider than 205 could induce nasty aqua planning at the slightest hint of wet weather and put you into a tree... ask me how i know

195x60x14 is a good tyre with some clearance from the front plastics without the possibility to bump on the rear arches . Handling is also good only it get a little high from the ground.

thanks for the help do you happen to know if a 7.5" rim will fit on a sprint or is 7" the widest you can go???
