More progress...
All lines flared, braided lines in, Hydralic handbrake and bias valve mounted, rear end complete, new rotors installed, seam welded engine mount, chassis rails, strut braces and sump baffled with return lines and oil sender fittings.

Yes i even painted my rotors....uh i thought this was a race car..ahahaha i never quit..

Next time im on it i will have all the front suspension in, struts, nolathane top mounts, custom camber kit, front arms (16v seam welded aswell), new Koni yellow inserts, will be nice to see it on the ground finally.
Then its onto the engine and gearbox....

Looks good!!

Coulnt help but notice you have welded up some cracks around the opening for the steering arms. I know that your putting in the front strut braces and this will help no end, and if you haven't already thought of it, I really think you should over engineer this part and put some added strength on the underside of those cracks. Just make a few plates that plug weld in from behind, then you wont get those unsightly cracks appearing in a shiny spanking engine bay. Particularly as this is a race car, the forces in that area will be pretty high made worse by stiffer spings and a big anti-roll bar.

Alfasud 1.5ti

Hi Micheal,
are you by chance selling your old parts on the original car? I'm in need for a Engine, Gear Box, front Bumper,Etc... Lot More actually.
I'm restoring a 1982 1.5Ti which is the only car to be brought to Sri Lanka. Not the most smooth job to find parts as I'm desparate to make it Original..

Sorry, will be keeping the front and rear bars still using them and never hurts to have a spare gearbox.
Goodluck though.

Thanks for the Respone mate. Could you please tell me what difference does it have in 1982 1.5Ti and 1983 1.5Ti models (Except the BHP difference)
