Thanks.

Well think I'll start looking for some anyway and whenever a set come up will buy them. My set up is very stiff, what with the shocks, autodelta (UK) springs, poly bushes, and OMP strut brace. And as its so stiff I guess cracks could well be an issue in the future, especially as I'm not exactly a 'soft' driver!!

Well if anyone reading this post in the UK has a set of these bars, let me know.

Cheers.

Simply go to your local steel merchant and buy some tube ... weld into car, or flatten ends and drill hole, bend, etc. and bolt into car.

Pretty simple stuff ... don't get ripped off by paying Alfa Romeo prices for a < $10 bit of steel.
Pete
ps: If you have not stiffened your car via rollcage then it will crack anyway ...

But enough on that time for some more pics, i just finished painting the brake setup....mmmm red!! and the rear has been prepped rust grinded back and ready to paint.
Plus wait till i show the suede dash and centre console hehe

This will be a nice race car, looking sharp Michael! - as for the bushings, run what you think is best - im sure you know from sprinting in the past whats best.
Are you going to respray the whole body? original Silver? Keeping the sunroof?

Nah i'm just going to paint the rear hatch and the minor imperfections that need attention...me being me . Ill be painting the engine bay, inside cabin and the underbody aswell as i want to enter it in shows too.

The sunroof is out and the panel shop will be attending to that issue once its on the road, it was just way too heavy to keep in.

Hmmm, IMO wrong way around. I ditched my front anti-roll bar all together (saves weight where you don't want it, and you need the front to be softish for traction).

Also I do not believe you need a rear anti-roll bar but it could work, but basically most racers just put very, very stiff rear springs in ... thus the rear controls body roll. I guess a very stiff anti-roll bar could do the same and the car might be better on bumpy tracks.

Remember traction end must be the softest ... or so I have read.
Pete

All painted minus the rear arch flares and i jacked a wheel up in the arch to see what it looks like mmmmmm.

Note the suede dash and centre console, trademark katsikitis

Will start work on the engine and suss soon!

Coming along nicely dude!

What have you installed in your instrument cluster?

This is inspiring me not to get rid of my series 3 Alfasud.... I think the Alfetta is going to have to go shortly as I don't have the room/time/$ to keep it anymore.

More pics of my 16v rebuild coming soon!

hehe, I'm sure it will turn out well - especially knowing how awesome your 16v is

Will it be road legal? I hope so, because half the fun would be driving to the track!
