16v is pretty straight forward to amintain and i've found it hugely reliable.

i've had a few sprints in my time, including 1.5 single carb, 1.5 twin carb and a 1.7 8v conversion. i've been running a 16v conversion in my latest sprint for the past 8 years and i have to say it is a world apart. the performance is a big step up and it just feels like a great fit for the sprint.

thanks greek

How is the other end attached to the chassis rail? from looking at mine they are to long and the end needs to be cut off and the mounting hole drilled further up the bar? is this right?

Ok , i talked to my friend and he said that they dont need to be cut of . It stops right before the screws of the fender base. But since it is not perfect aligment you would have to weld a metal to the frame to allign it.

if you have any question you can email him at salabren1@yahoo.com

rear discs

Hey APT, put up some pics from the installation of the 16v P4 rear disc brake system, we'd be very intrested!
Is the whole rear suspension needed, or would those rear disc+calipers+hub bolt up to the standard 33 rear suspension? Or what conversions are needed?
