electrical fuel pump for carbs?

Dear all. What electrical fuel pump is reccommended for the 1.7 8VQV? Twin dellorttos. I think I am getting fuel starvation at high rpm at 4/5 gears. Car has cams.

4-5 psi? 6? I am looking at facet pump. Or anyone has one for sale. Thanks.

if you are running carbs then it is a low pressure mechanical pump... you can buy electric low pressure replacements from stores such as www.international-auto.com are you sure the pump is the problem?

Thanks guys. I actually faced the problem at 3rd gear initially. Had to ease the throttle a while and power resumed. Then I drilled out the banjos a little and it helped. Then the same problem occurred at 4th and fifth gear. All temp readings shot up.

I havent had experience with this pump...

although it sounds like the way to go. I've read a couple of posts on the Carter. I think Summit Racing has it for ~$60.

You're darn right it is. But after the problem with the fuel supply, I kindda feel more at ease to hear what's going on with the feed.
