tyre pressure

just interested as to what tyre pressure you run on 33's. i run 40 front 38 back
(cold temp). i find steering a bit heavy just wondering if tyre pressure makes a huge difference or wether 33's are naturally heavy on steering. its good while driving and gives nice feed back but while stationary it feels real heavy. cheers

Have you lowered your car? At standard ride height my sud felt fine, but now its about 40mm lower it is really heavy at low speed due to the steering arms new position. Another little mod I want to make is a bracket on the steering rack that fixes this problem.

Best practice is to have 3psi more on the front tires. If you have 15'' rims preferable 34'' front 31'' rear. I think 40 is tooo much and for track day only.

I'd pretty much agree with Greek's pressure tip. We ran my standard 33 in a few races at full ride height but with stiff springs as while the race car was still under repair.
33 psi front 30 rear on standard tyres worked OK. (Cold pressure - can increase by up to 6 psi when being used hard on a warm day)

If using standard springs, and thus more roll, a bit more pressure might help keep the front sidewalls from getting too much wear up them. I would think that under track condiitons 40 psi would probably make the car a bit skitterish and lack grip.
