dave, might see if i can modify existing arrangement to work. it will mean cutting and rewelding throttle linkage which im sure shouldnt be too hard.

I have been collecting some bits and pieces for my brakes. only front rotors and calipers at the moment.will leave drums on rear for now till i see how they go.

cheers kacko

Have the p4 headers as well, if you want a really wicked noise getting some p4 headers copied for your car would be the go! I can measure them up for you and stuff if you like, they are some wackily designed headers..

Ya I know those. Because of the very different lengths, they produce an exceptionally different note. In fact I have similar ones by an aftermarket maker. Can't remember the brand though. Actually this config is used by Subaru Wrx where front joins first and the rears match up before meeting. I'm not sure about the power though but my friend was crazy over that exhaust note.

Sorry to read about your back problems - bending over engine bays doesn't help!! Get well soon and we look forward to posts as and when.

yeah 15 years of bending over jap crap when your 6ft 3 doesnt help any. will give me time to do a bit more planning with the build.Picked up two parts cars today so that helps.havent sighted them yet but i had to say yes for next to nothing.

cheers

Hey Dave Hows it going? do You reckon you could make a thread on your rear disk conversion? ive got something up my sleeve for my sprint eventualy but would be interested to see how you have done it on yours?

Cheers
Richard

Ps have driven my car and its so good, doing a test day at manfeild on the 30th october. also a note that 33 front suspension (Short front arms) doesnt work in a sud or sprint when its low and has 205/50 r15 racetyres on haha ill have to put long arms back in to shorten the wheel base

Hi...i have recently bought a 33 1.7 16v as a project with the plan to enter in into sprint and circuit racing events. I'm not aware of any being raced here in Aus. I have heard that there are a few more on the tracks over in NZ.. Does anyone with race time in one of these have any tips for engine build, suspension and brakes? Thanks.
